DTS's refusing to schedule 1

We have a SQL2k installation on an NT4 box. We have set up a number of DTS's which run fine when they are run from SQL Enterprise Manager by either of the two of us (SQL admins). But every time we attempt to schedule the things they refuse to run.

Any DTS we set up no matter wether we use our own instances on our development boxes or go straight to the server and set it up there, refuse to run.

We have tried everything. Can anyone help?
