DTS Scheduling Problem

Hello, Big Jim here:

When I click on a local package and run through the "Schedule Package" option, I am able to fill out all of the forms, but then nothing happens. How do I know where to look to see if the job is going to run? I am not even sure it is running. Any thoughts?

You may need to refresh (hit f5) the 'jobs' icon in Enterprise Manager. Your DTS schedule job should then appear.

To see if your job is executing on the server, use the 'sp_who2' stored procedure. Or utilise the 'DTS package execution logs' within the properties menu in the DTS designer.
