DTS question

Hi,

I want like to create a package which would export data to a word document. I don't see this option under the DTS wizard. Is it possible to import/export to word?

I don't see a way to do it. You can try to export to a Text file, and save with a .rtf extension. Word should open up a file with that extention. Then you can save as a .doc.

Straight export no, you can export to a text file, Word will open that without a problem (no formatting of course)

Look at ActiveX task and using the word object if you want to do all the fancy formatting stuff
