DTMF Tones Not Working sometimes

These are analogue lines being delivered by Charter.

It seems that when calls come from certain carriers that the DTMF tones don't work all the time. Of course when I call it works every time.

Any trouble-shooting suggestions?
 
Are you sure the DTMF tones are reaching you? It sounds like an issue with the calling party's service or equipment.

Thanks to technology, we can instantly communicate across the world, but it still doesn't help us know what to say.
 
If you can replicate the issue with Monitor running it will show what the IPO is receiving. I had a similar issue with another carrier a few years back and it turned out that they were sending too strong of a signal from the street level (that is the response they gave me). They installed a device outside the building to regulate the signal the IPO was receiving.
