We have a S8500 with G450 gateway and callers are being intermitently being dropped when they access our employee directory that uses a vdn/vector. We have one DID number ponted to the VDN from our PRI's. It does not happen with every call but it seems as if the DTMF not being accepted by the PBX. I have checked with our carrier and they have confirmed that there were no changes to the configurations on their end.

rustytelco, there aer KNOWN issues with the G450 and MP20 Media Processors. Do a "display media 1", and see what MP's you have, and what firmware is on them.

If you have MP20's, you would handle this by calling AVAYA and opening a case with them, they may come out and replace your MP20's, with an MP80, or they may have new beta firmware out for the MP20's to try out.

The issue is, the VoIP module disconects at random, it is more noticable when you are using H323 IP trunks, such as on an IA770 voice mail, or a Modular Messaging system using H323 IP trunks, but it happens on regular calls as well.

AVAYA has not admited to any issue, but there is one, since they have come out and replaced MP20's with an MP80 in at least 5 or 6 of our clients. If you have an MP80 Media Processor, if you upgrade to g450_sw_28_19.bin that will upgrade the VoIP modules to FW13, and the issue is solved... for MP20's, as far as I know, there is no current solution, other than upgrading them to MP80's
