DTMF on incoming call to DT phone

Is there a way for a DT phone to send DTMF tones when it recives an incoming call?? When dialling out, this happens by default.

I remember on the INDeX this was the same, but there was a way to do it through the menu on the DT3/5 2030/50. I think (memory has been better!!!) that they may have been a license involved also.

We have a doorphone connected to an alog port on the IP Office and when the DT answers it cannot pass the DTMF to release to doorlock.

Is there a way round this????

Isnt there a DTMF key you can press on the DT phones???

During the conversation press "Scroll" and then end or something like that, thats a long time ago somebody asked this.

I pressing scroll and RECORD was the only option.

It was something like that on the INDeX.

The only way we've found is to use Phone Manager and the computer number pad to send DTMF

What kind of door phone. Perhaps you could reconnect it to operate on a LINE port instead of an analog station. Then, when a DT answered it, you would be able to send DTMF.

You have to press the program button and then press the dtmf keys.

That is how to release dtmf on an incoming call on a dt handset.

Press program first to tell the phone you want to release dtmf.

@TouchToneTommy: it happens on all incomming calls so connecting to a line port wouldn't make any difference.
