DT users - firmware 2.1 vs 3.0dt

We are running 3.0DT latest version and I would like to know if the re is actually any difference between 30.DT and 2.1 (latest) ?

Seems like we should have stuck with 2.1 since there are no more updates for the 3.0DT User CD etc but the user CD for 2.1 is often updated. I would like to use the newer User CD (especially for playing with TAPI) but I am unsure whether to stick with 3.0DT firmware and use the 2.1 USer CD or what!?!

If it would be better to go to 2.1 newest is it safe to just do the downgrade" and keep the exisitnf configuration?? We are two sites with SCN and voicemail pro at each office.

psst... 3.0DT is just 2.1 with a different number. The updated 2.1 User CD's should work okay.

If you are using 3.0DT firmware you should only use 2.1 Apps (Phone Manager, v-mail etc.)

I have "downgraded" to 2.1.62 and all is working well including VM 3.something and various versions of Phonemanager
