When programming at extension 7301 DSS digital, pressing the call button on the extension but does not follow the target group SA, but enter the extension on the keypad follows the SA group.
. Former Extension key programmed in 7300 - source extension 7301 Group SA 7300-7302 7303 Type LIN.

DSS is just that, Direct Station Selection.

If however you want it to follow hunt groups etc.
then add in the parameter 'DSSWOOVR' like as follows:
CHANGE-SDAT:xxxx,ATTRIBUT,DSSWOOVR;

If you use the Assistant the checkbox is called "DSS without feature override" and you can do it in classmarks for the whole phone, or individual keys in the phones button table screen.

Yes the feature 'DSSWOOVR' is DSS without override because DSS itself overrides any forwarding/hunt group etc.
Nowadays I just add that on to all extensions unless they ask differently.
