Sorry for the confusion - I'll try to clarify:
I have CAT5 cable throughout my house. Currently there are 3 phone lines in use; DSL/FAX, Home, and HO. What I am trying to do is distribute all of this data (post DSL Modem and Linksys Router) to various outlets. I could accomplish this with the supposed "unused" pins (4,5,7,8) as described in the Linksys manual. It seems as though since these pins are not used by the router, they are not 'passed' through the router. So, alas, I may need to heed your advice and split each and every line to carry all the needed data/voice. I was attempting to avoid all the splitters if possible. Any more insight would be great.
DSL >>>>[DSL Modem]>>>| |>>> 1,2 = TX
^^ |Linksys Router|>>> 3,6 = RCV
Line1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>^^ |>>> 4,5 = line1
Line2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>^ |>>> 7,8 = line2
Diagram is viewed best in the small window mode - basically I am combining the DSL output with the voice data prior to the router.
Thanks again - BTW - you responded before Linksys support !!
