DS3 HSSI interface vs straight DS3 module

What advantages is there with a HSSI interface, I know you can get 100 Meg also break the ds3 up, but would it be just as easy to get a DS3 module for a 3745 instead of getting a HSSI card and an external CSU, any thought thx all.......

Personally the less equipment the better.

We had a HSSI module for one of our 3745's and had an external T1 Mux with 6 T1's. We have now upgraded to a full DS3 and replaced our HSSI with a DS3 card.

I, personally, like the DS3 better.
