Is there any way of setting a DS1 card to a "maintenance" mode so that it puts all the channels into a busy state and waits for active calls to clear down and then makes those ports busy as well.

I remember doing it a looong while ago but I'm a bit rusty these days.

All help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Beginning in V9 Avaya introduced a feature called Camp-on Busyout. It allows you to immeniately busyout all idle members of a trunk group and will wait for the active members to go idle before busing them out.

Kevin, thanks again. The system is running V11, but I can't find the "camp-on busyout". Is it in the trunk group pages or sig-group pages? I looked in both but couldn't find any sign of it.

Cheers,
Andy

It is in the initial commands screen. You will have to have technical permissions to use this feature. If you do the command to run this would be "camp trunk ?" The ? would be either the trunk group or member #.
