Dropdownlist allow free text

How do I setup a dropdownlist control on a web form that allows both selection of values and free text? I.e My customers can either select a value from the list or type in the value they want (similar to the limittolist property for combo boxes in Access).

The DDL doesn't have this functionality built into it. You could always extend the control yourself or have a textbox/button that adds extra items to the DDL.

has a windows product named C1Combo that allows this functionality so you could see if they do a ASP.NET version.
