Hi - I am on a friends puter and we need to know how to drop monitor resolution from 85 to 75 hertz.
Its easy to do in XP but forgotten how to get to the damn thing in Win 98.

It should be in the advanced bit (Adapter refresh) of settings in display properties (but, depending on the driver you have installed, it may not appear there).

If it doesn't, try (its shareware, but works with a nag).

Hey wolluf/skipcox - - Thanks for your speedy reply. Reason why I couldnt find it was because when initially loading the op system he did it recommended for most users instead of custom. - - Result, the settings were not loaded. - No wonder I couldnt find the damn thing.
Thanks for your help. We have set it not for 75 hertz but for default. Was going to set it as optimal but decided on default. - I hope this does the buisiness.
