Hi

I have a list of documents in an excel sheet. The status of those documents changes often and I have to write it in the status column. I'd like to have "drop-downs cells" in the status column so that when I click the cell, a drop-down appears with the list of the various status (preliminary, review, technically approved, quality approved, withdrawn).
Can somebody help, please?

Thanks

Francois

Use menu command Data/Validation, from List. You can type the list in there, or have it refer to a list in the sheet, or refer to a defined name pointing to list in another sheet.

Cheers, Glenn.

Hi,

Take a look at Data/Validation - List
