HI,
On the arcserve machine... you will find a folder called DR.within this you will find another folder specific to the name of the machine being backedup..
look for a file called <machine_name>.drf
open the registry.. regedt32.exe
highlight HKLM.. go to the registry menu and select load hive..
when pormpted select this .drf file and hit "open"
enter the key name... say TEST
this will add a new key in the registry called TEST
highlight "test: on the registry and it should list all the
sessions that were backed up from the remote machine..
it will something like this:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\dell]
"DRComputerName"="DELL"

whatedver drives you find here will be displayed when you select to assign sessions.
if you dont find any info here or if they are all '0'.. you wont be able to assign any sessions...
you would have to contact CA support to get a test fix..
Thanx
