Is your st driver loaded?
Code:
modinfo | grep -i tape
146 784e4000 12dcc 33 1 st (SCSI tape Driver 1.216)

A patchlist for SUNWsan on Solaris 9 is (in this order):
111847
113039
113046
113049
114476
114477
114478
113040
113041
113042
113043
113044
114878

$ modinfo | grep -i tape
40 1382e6e 13144 33 1 st (SCSI tape Driver 1.229)
And all those patches are installed. An update, one of the power supplies is bad and on a reboot the library is stuck at initializing drive 2. Support folks will by on Monday. Thanks for your assistance so far.

The drives are up.We are using the FC420 fibre channel bridge and it is not configured. Also with respect to client installation,.rhosts on clients are to populated with the master server name. After that what should I do next?

Many thanks to Huebs for your assistance in getting Netbackup working. All you pointers were very helpful. Thanks again.
