Hi,

I got Windows98 and installed Windows2000 in the same PC. Now, I found I cannot play music under Windows2000. Do you think I need a driver for that and can I just copy the driver from Windows98 to Windows2000? If that is a good idea, where to find the drever in Windows98? Or, any suggestion?

Thank you in advance.

you need a win2k driver for your soundcard (the win98 driver won't work with 2k).

If you look in 98 it should tell you what type of soundcard is installed. Go to manufacturer's site and look for driver downloads page. Or failing that, Google for it.

(of course you may have a disk with the 2k drivers on already - that came with soundcard).

Thanks a lot for your helps.
I have found a driver for Windows2000 but not working. I have posted another question for this.
