driver for monitor

Hi i have just replaced my hard drive and reloaded all but i cannot seem to find the driver for the monitor. I am running xp and the monitor is ma782kc (no make). Thanks

Are you sure its the monitor driver you require, and not the Video Card driver? What exactly is wrong?

What make and model of PC is it?

Have you tried the manufacturer's website for drivers related to the PC?

Unless your monitor requires a specific refresh its not getting, a generic XP driver should work fine.

The problem is the screen is very unstable at start up until xp kicks in and then the mouse is erratic.
Its a E-S102

Define "unstable".

And have you tried another monitor, just to rule out the possibility of a failing monitor?

E-S102 is a model? what manufacturer makes it? Acer? EMachines? Gateway?

Ok I think i have half sussed it. When I installed the new drive I have used a reboot/recovery disc from the wrong computer. I cannot find the recovery disc for mine which is a e-system E-S102 running xp. Any ideas where I can get one?
