Driver for Integrated Audio device ADI 198x sound Card.

I have a new Dell Computer with Analog Devices ADI 198x integrated Audio Card.

Because of License issue, my company wants me to install Windows 98 on all the PC.

I have problem getting the drives. I have tried Dell - They only have drivers for windows XP/2000, I have tried many Driver sites but no success. In some forums, I saw drivers which were supposely for the Card, but they did not work.

Has any one run into this issue before? How did you resolve it?

My major problem is since the hardware is very new, windows 98 do not have drivers for it. I have been able to get the VGA, NIC, Chipset, etc working but I need the sound.

Any help would be appreciated.

If Windows 98 compatible drivers are not available for the integrated sound adapters, then you may have to install inexpensive Windows 98 compatible sound cards.
