doe snayone know how i can get the column headings to show up in the drill down tab?

Put the column headings in a group header, format to supress if duplicate, and alternately hide/display - using conditional variables - the headings for drill - down levels.

There is a Report Option in CR8 called "Show all Headings on Drill Down".

In Cr7 and earlier you will need variables and evaluation times. Check out the Jan 2000 issue of Crystal Clear for the way to do this.

All versions: At the detail level, have a details(a) section with the column headings; format each heading to "Suppress if duplicated", and the section to "Suppress if Blank". A technique I've seen in some trainign notes, but not I'd recommend as it ONLY works for detail headings, and not for higher level groups. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
