I've just downloaded the trial copy last night, and I'd like to second kjonnnnn's request for newbie help.
I plan to go through the tutorial tonight.
I guess, the 1st question I'd like answered, is "Is there a best way to organize my project?"
I've seen sites where they've got a common images directory, and then each major portion of the site is in a different directory underneath the web root.
To both of you (Chiph and Kjonnn)I first would dump FP - and yes Flash imports very well in DW. In fact you can (4.0 anyway) play, loop and do other things with it while in DW. Chiph - there are a ton of "organizing your site" tutorials out there. Webmonkey.com is a great place for things like that. Also, DW has a site map and site files window available - keep all images in one folder and I keep html in another- that's just my preference.. I hope that helps
I hope you have had the opportunity to at least try DW 4.0 - It's awesome!
Yeah,
I downloaded DW 4.0. Didn't have time last night to look at it -- still fighting Samba on the RedHat box (arrgggg!) so I can connect to it over the network.
Thanks for the info -- Haven't been to webmonkey in a while, maybe it's time for a re-visit.
