Dreamweaver Templates: Editable Region Not Showing!?

I created a .dwt file and everything was ok, but for some reason now my pages [when opened in dreamweaver] are showing a blank where the editable region content should be... why is this happening? Is this a setting problem or something in the .dwt itself?

I don't think anyone knows, I've asked this on several forums.

I don't have DW on the computer I am on right now but - have you tried naming the editable region without a space? I know a lot of things in HTML etc prefer not to have spaces so I generally don't use them when naming a region either. Although as I said I don't have DW here to try it out.

Do you have some form of text or space inside the editable region on your template? if the region is empty, you cannot update anything in your pages...
