I am a novice at DW, maybe not even that good. I have started building a page from one of their templates. It has the linked pages in a colum on the front page. How on earth do I access those pages? how do I make them look like the front page on the template?
They are not really 'templates' (DWTs with editable regions etc.) they are more of a pr-designed layouts so if you edited that file you would have to do "Save As"....or did u download some tempates?

thank you for the response. I have saved each papge individually from making my own template. I then pointed them all to the correct page. seems a little cumbersome as each time in the future I want a link added it has to be manually added to each page? is that correct?
If your links are used on several pages then do them as an INCLUDE file

what john said is the best....if u want to stay in DW world then look into "new file from temaplates"...although dw will update links and pages that were created from your template there is always that percentage of error and differences between pages. SSI is quicker but may affect the wysiwyg depending on design...
All the best!
