Dreamweaver 3 or 4 better?

What are the important advantages of Dreamweaver 4 over Dreamweaver 3? Is it worth the upgrade? I've tried "4" but I found it very heavy on the memory usage. Is that common? I have a PIII with 256MB RAM.

For me I see no difference in performace of the two...
The only good feature I like is that there is a tab bar that allows you to change between design view and HTML view, and another feature for split view...this is verry helpful when you wanna hand code and look at design view at the same time...
Plus there are some kool new Dreamweaver 4 extensions as well...(go to

I think that DW3 is better than DW4 because of its extension capabilities and lower system requirements.

I upgraded to 4 and am very happy I did. the split screen mode where you can view/edit the HTML code and the WYSIWYG simultaneously is a life saver, especially when coding javascripts, or adding php3 snips here or there in the code.

The O'Reilly reference is indispensible, I could do without the flash buttons and text as that is just window dressing, but some people love that stuff.... When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

At work I have a PII 400Mhz with 512M RAM on W98, and DW4 seems to work fine, not slow at all. At home I have a PIII 500Mhz with WinNT, 320M RAM.. again no appreciable difference between it and 3.0 When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

help!!!
when i try to connect to a image in my browser (pg1 to pg2 )it works,but when i try to connect from pg2 to pg1(going back to pg1) it dosent connect.but it will show the pg1 that im working on. any sug?
