I have a Windows NT 4.0 SP 6a workstation. It has Office 2000 installed on this and had IE 6.0 on it. Then the PC got attacked with a lot of viruses and pop up windows and got affected by that lycos Side search , hot bar, tiny bar etc etc. I used the site to get all the fixes. Now IE 6.0 doesnt work correctly at all. I get the following error:
An application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated iexplore.exe
Exception: access voilation (0xc0000005),
Address: 0x0012edb6
If i revert back to IE version 5.0 IE works just fine but Internet mail service does not as it is of the Office 2000 version. I am not able to find IE 5.5 download any where either and Microsoft has stopped supporting IE 5.x with windows NT 4.0.
Any help is appreciated.
