Dr Watson Error in Excel

Can any one help. I've received the following Dr Watson error in excel(I was just reading a formula) Would be mad if me someone could help!

Did you ever figure this out. I have a user who is getting this exact Dr. Watson error (EXACT) this morning so I started looking on the net for answers and found your post. Please let me know if you got past and and if so, how you got past it. Thanks

Hey 2macs! Didn't get anywhere with this one. I was trying to cheat by rebuilding the user's profile. Microsoft haven't got a clue either. If you come up with anything, without cheating (smile) please let me know. As I said earlier &quot;Would be mad if me someone could help!&quot;

Try deleting all the *.tmp files in C:\Temp, empty the Recycle Bin, restart the PC. This should go a long way in reducing reoccuring Dr. Watson errors. Found this works for many other applications as well, particularly Corel products like WordPerfect and Quattro Pro.

Somewhere I had read that if you get the functionrdinal44 in Dr Watson, then you need to delete your profile and recreate it. I think that's poochie's problem.

Clearing the tmp and ~* files goes a long way in preventing Dr watson errors.

One of the culprits in Dr Watson errors in the Video driver. It may work fine for most apps, but may give you problems with a certain app. Try updating the Video driver if Dr watson errors are quite frequent.
