doScroll method using frames

Perhaps I'm just not using proper syntax, or maybe it's not supported. I have two frames, main and footer. The footer contains buttons for page up and page down. This is for a touch-screen kiosk with no keyboard. I want the buttons to scroll the main frame without changing each page to include a div tag.
