I was looking for some spurious table references in my report files, and was using Win98 file finder along with a little program I've written which searches all memo fields in a table.

Well I found the reference, but after swapping between the frx as a table and modi repo numerous times without finding it, I noticed that the record in the frx file has DOS in the "platform" field. Obviously, there are also "Windows" platform records, and these are the ones 'seen' by the report.

So what's the point of the DOS records?

What Version of FoxPro are you talking about? David W. Grewe

Visual Foxpro 6 sp5. The reports were converted from FP2.6 reports to begin with, so I'm guessing that's where the references are from. Can I safely delete them?

Yes. Don't forget to open the .FRX exclusive, so after you mark these records for deletion you can do a PACK.
