I don't know if this is a software or Hardware issue. I have a program when i go to delete from dos it will not delete all the programs i'm still stuck with the excutables. When i go to del the excutables it says they are read only. I have tried the attrib command with no avail. Can some please tell me how to get rid of this junk. By the way it is a Mediapipe program. Thanks

You could try going to safe mode and deleting from safe mode.

Thanks garebo Ill try that.

when you say from dos - what do you mean? (eg, if you're running 9x/ME, booting from a boot floppy into 'real' dos - or just a dos box? 2k/Xp doesn't have dos).

Or from a reboot and from command mode only. Attrib should work there.too.

Give the wrong symptoms, get the wrong solutions.

Thanks everyone for the help. I booted to safe mode and was able to resolve the problem. Wolluf the dos box or command prompt in XP. Thanks

Great!
