Don't want to listen in when hitting busy-ind

I put 4 busy-ind buttons on an 8410B. If you touch one of the buttons, you can hear the conversation on that line. What can I do to mute this so that it still indicates busy, but you won't be able to hear the conversation if you hit the busy-ind button.

busy-ind buttons should not do that. Are you sure it's not a brdg-appr.

No, it's definitely busy-ind. And when you hit one of them , there are 4, you can hear the conversation. thanks.

This is a long shot; check cha sys fea and change "Temporary Bridged Appearance on Call Pickup" to NO.

I hate to throw a wrench into the works but I tested this and my "Temporary Bridged Appearance on Call Pickup" is set to Yes and I cannot recreate this problem on a busy ind button.

I would double check to make sure that isn't a bridged appearance. Busy-Ind should not be able to listen in.

Station 1058 could hear the conversation.
Here's what is looks like for station 1058:

busy-ind TAC/ext 1059
busy-ind TAC/ext 3039

Now station 1059 has a bridged appearance to station 1058.
Could that have something to do with the discrepancy?
