Hi all,

Any time i change the mouse or the keyboard i have to restart windows in order to the mouse or keyboard works, could be some way to change this in windows, like the Win9x when you can connect or disconect the mouse and it work ok.

thankssssssssssss in advance

To the best of my knowledge there is no way of doing this in XP. In fact it is not recommended to do it at all, as removing the Mouse/Keyboard would result you you having to reset the machine to boot back into windows. Thus possibly causing corruption on your hard drive.

If you don't mind me asking why do you need to do this on a regular occurance. There may be another way round what you are trying to do.

You can shut down using the standby option .
The disconnect mouse keyboard etc.
Connect them again .
Bring the computer to live again .
( Starting from standby mode is much faster than shutdown/start)
