Domain synchronize...

One aspect.....
When you have two Domain controllers (Primary & Backup), one can be off line and the users can still be authenticated to log on to the LAN. The user accts are synchronised via this function. If you only had a Primary DC and lost it, then you would have to add all your PC's back into the NEW domain and re-create all the user accts, reset premissions etc....Quite messy.
