Domain renaming

I am preparing a new windows 2003 server as a domain controller with AD replacing my old NT Domain controller.
For testing purpose first i named my domain controller as xyz and now i wanted to change it to another name and when i tried to do it says to use the tool . I downloaded the tool and i am not sure how to do it. Is this the right way to do it , if yes or not how to do it
