I have an incomming mail issue but it only seems to involve blackberry replies. Note: domain and usernames have been changed for anonymity...

email from internet to @acme.com works fine.
email from @acme.com to internet works fine.
forwards to contact user@blackberry.email works
forwards thru enterprise blackberry work
replies from user through exchange work
replies from user through blackberry DO NOT, whether on the enterprise or from user@blackberry.email

The incomming mail goes through a PIX to an ironport MX filter which forward the cleaned mail to the exchange server. The error I'm seeing is...

Final-Recipient: rfc822;receivinguser@acme.com
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0 (permanent failure)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 553-'#5.1.8 Domain of sender address <sendinguser@acme.com> does not resolve' (delivery attempts: 0)
Reporting-MTA: dns; smtp01.bis.na.blackberry.com

I have limited experience with BlackBerry mail, but I'll give you my .02 since no on else has replied yet.

It looks like your replies are using your @acme.com address instead of the @blackberry.com address and the blackberry.com SMTP servers aren't liking it. You need to look all through your blackberry config and make sure nothing uses the @acme.com address in a way that might make it a reply address.

I know that you would ideally like replies sent from your blackberry to use the @acme.com address, but in your existing config, using the blackberry.com SMTP, I don't think you can do that (unless there is a bad config on the BB). If you had the BlackBerry enterprise server at your office you might not have this problem, but dealing with BlackBerry's server is going to create this issue.
