Domain Names vs Netbios in Exchange

How do I get Exchange to use Domain names instead of Netbios names for sending and receiving external email. I know that this is pretty basic, but I just don't get it. I'm using NT4 SP6 and Exchange 5.5 SP4.Thanks.

You don't.
You can login to a domain with WINxxx but Exchange needs to know the SERVER ! A domain can host several servers, Exchange cannot tell which one you want just from the domain name.
Let's say you have 3 Exchange servers on the same Domain, and you 'could' login to the domain, how would it know which server to access? _{If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.
