Hi,

Are the w2k server minimum requirements the same for a w2k domain controller.

What about bdc's? Must you have a replication server in your AD model? If so what are the requirements for that?

I can only find a general system requirements page on Microsofts web site. Of course I assume they are way to low!!

Best wishes

Michael Curtis

hi,
for my experience, 2 normal desktop PC are good:
I have seen old Pentium ? as PDC + BDC in NT domain.

I belive that normal PC (P3,128M) (of a well supported trademark) are good.

The trick is to do not install other sw then the needing.
(normal graphic adapter, standard nic, and so on)

More they are old, and more nobody will come to you to ask
PC for important person!

No such thing as a BDC in a W2K domain!! W2K works on a multi-master model.
