Our previous setup:

Domain A(NT4)<---->Domain B(Win2K AD)

There is an established trust relationship between the two sites.

Then we upgraded Domain A(NT4)to Win2K Active Directory;
1. I created NT4 BDC
2. Sync it with PDC
3. Promote it to PDC
4. Let it run for 2 weeks
5. Take off network old/demoted PDC/BDC
6. Install Win2k/AD
7. Users can login, ok,
8. Take online old BDC NT4
Encountered no errors.

Then after several days I get this error on the Win2kDC machine on Domain A

Event ID: 5722
Source: Netlogon

The session setup from the computer XXXXXX failed to authenticate. The name of the account referenced in the security database is DomainB$
The following error occured:
Access is denied.

XXXXXXX---is a WIN2K domain controller on DomainB

What can be the problem?
Thanks in advance.....

Gracias!!!!

Hi Aslam

Please correct me if i am wrong;

i will be resetting the computer account(XXXXXXXX) of one of the domain controllers in DomainB.

i shall do this with
NETDOM RESET XXXXXXX /DOMAIN:DomainB

But according to the KB article:
NOTE: This will prevent an established computer from connecting to the domain and should only be used for a computer that has just been rebuilt.

i am confused!!!!

thanks for the help and patience...

gracias!!!
