I read on the Microft website that Windows 2000 does not support directx on the secondary display adapte. I was not able to find the answer for XP. I have a video server with 2 video cards ( 1 Matrox dual-head video card, and 1 ATI Radeon 7500LE single monitor video card).
I can view video on the primary primary display, but not on the secondary, due to the lack of DirectX support.
The PC is running Windows 2000 Pro, but am willing to upgrade to XP if it solves this problem.

Thanks for your help...

The pci video card and the motherboard must be able to support dual monitor capability or going to XP won't help. I've seen many computers with a built in AGP and a pci plugged in that won't do dual monitor.
