Does WebI 2.7.2 work with Sun JVM?

Anyone tried WebI 2.7.2 on a Windows NT client running IE6 with Sun JVM?

Does it work?

It does NOT work. BO didn't support the Sun JVM until 6.1b

I may be reading it wrongly, but doesn't the PAR on their support site show WebI 2.7.4 supported on NT with IE 6.0 SP1 and Sun 1.4.1???

That is what is making me wonder whether 2.7.2 will also work.....

I answered differently on busobj.forumtopics.com

They made changes to the applet to let it work with the Sun JVM in 2.7.4. This was due to the microsoft issue where they have eliminated the JVM.

I will only work with the Sun JVM if you are using Netscape.
