Does the BM 700462518 work properly with the 9621 phones?

Does the BM 700462518 work properly with the 9621 phones?
I was at a new clients place and the front desk has one. She wanted the button to light up/indicate that the user was on the phone when in use. I check to see if the button was programmed as a "user" and it is. When touched it calls the idle phone and when the phone is in use the reception has no idea the user is on the phone.
IPO 500V2 8.0.53 load All phones on system are 9621's Starting to think that maybe the BM24 is not compatible with the 9621 phones does anyone know?

What ipolmans is saying is that the 9621G does not have an expansion port so there is no place to plug in the SBM24. The 9608/9611G/9641G do have that expansion port.
