Hello All,
I would like to have callers be able to reach an on call person.
Can that be done thru the BCM (CallPilot) Voicemail?
Do I need the 9 in the string to allow it?
I have it as option 7 but it does not ring the outside number.
Thanks for any input

If you are using POTS lines that have Call Transfer from the central office I like to use this feature to save system resources and to make sure the volume level is consistant. I program in like this #xxxxxxx. The ( # ) tells the system to FLASH the line then you dial the digits and the then the lines is returned to you to use again. The callers starts to hear ringing. When they first call in you need to insert a greeting like this: I am away from my desk please leave a message for me or if you would like to be transferred to my cell phone press 7." When they press 7 is then says ONE MOMENT PLEASE. If you are using a PRI then only enter the telephone number.

Ok I am using POTs lines not sure if the lines have the Call Transfer feature will need to check into that.
What if they don't can I still make it work some how?

Yes you can use a route and destination. Be aware this method ties two lines in a conference.

Firefoxfire's method transfers the call and frees the line for another call.
