Hi All,
I am a bit new to NEC type systems; I thought I might ask the experts :)

We have a NEC NEAX 2000 IVS2 with Dterm Series E Phones.

Almost all of the phones in the system seem to be running fine. Except for one of the phones, it does not go to voicemail. It just continues to ring and ring until the caller hangs up or someone picks up the phone.

As I looked trough the documentation I did not see anything saying you can enable and disable the voice mail. This user just yesterday was getting voice messages. I switched phones out but still the same problem occurs. Any ideas you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

If you can manage in progamming take a look at...

E600>STA#> this is for CF All
E601>STA#> this is for CF Busy
E602>STA#> this is for CF Don't Ans
E603>STA#> this is for CF Busy Dont Ans

Just to add we use a software called CallXpress.
I'm a bit of a novice at using this. So I am unable to manage in programming. If there is a GUI that can be used that would be great or maybe the user just click something on the phone deactivating the voicemail feature. Any other ideas would be very helpful.
Thanks

Call forward is not in the GUI of Matworx IPS or Matwork 32.

If you are using Matworx Studio (no longer on the market) there is a GUI addin.

Get used to programming if managing an IPS 2000.

There are feature codes that can be done from the Phone but those are also customable.

I got it...
I went into Matworx studio and went to the call the forwarding section. I was comparing the problem phone settings with the other phones. For some reason the no answer setting was going to none instead of our voicemail line.
Thanks for the help Mextera in getting me to take a second look at the Matworx studio!
Thanks

How would I check this in CAT Mode? Also I'm a noob with programming in CAT mode so assume I don't know anything.

Press these keys in sequence
XFER
Conf
Star *
XFER
CONF
POUND #

I only use these two commands for VM not picking up.
E600 is Call Forward ALL
E603 is Call Forward No Answer/Busy

We use rollover lines, so call sequence is usually
6383-->7383-->VOICEMAIL
Rollover lines are create using CMD11 VLEN
