Psuedo-newbie question: I've been doing this ASP stuff for a year and a half now but I'm only self/Tek-Tips taught. (I buy packaging materials for a living!)

I use Microsoft's Scripting Environment to do all of my coding freehand because FrontPage "helped" me too much. However, when I use their help function, I can't seem to find much on SQL syntax or how to make the most of the ADO objects.

Is there something else I could load up to help me better understand how to get the most of my recordsets?

By the way, I want to thank you all for your help over the past year. Our site ( will celebrate its one year anniversary at the end of the month and we're in the top ten of every major search engine for Home Business Manager! You folks have been great mentors!

SQL syntax is explained pretty good on the "Books Online" (help file for SQL Server). ADO Recordsets and Commands are explained on a lot of websites. Try search google for some tutorials.
