Does BE 11D SQL 2005 Express co-exist with SQL 2000 Enterprise ?

Hi,

Does anyone know if when Backup exec 11D installs the SQL 2005 Express Database whether or not it can co-exist with an already installed full blown SQL Server 2000 Enterprise version ?

What happens to any older version of SQL express / MSDE or components that might be installed ?

I don't know about SQL Server 2000 Enterprise, but I do have SQL Server 2000 Standard running in co-existence with SQL 2005 Express with no problems. We have it on our Kronos Time-Keeping system and our Accounting System with no problems.
