I have a HP LC2000R server running Win2K server SP2. It is the domain controller for our organisation. I use Arcserve 2000 SP4 for backups. I have recently discoverad a file called BOOT.PCP in the root directory on the system disk. I did some searching and got one or 2 alarming results relating to the code red virus and the like. I have McAfee AVD 4.5 installed and perform regular virus scans both on server and on client pcs. The system is reported as clean! Does anyone know what this BOOT.PCP file is and where it comes from?
