Does any license required for networking 2 IPO? 2

I have two IPO, one is IP406 3.2, the other is IPO500 4.24. Both have VCM card. Do I need buy license for IP500 to connect two site?

I remerber somebody here said it works without license but need shortcode, I teied but not working.

i think you can put an ip line between them without a license. but you will not have SCN features.

then you just use shortcodes to route calls across the sites

It's possible to call from one site to another without a license, but that's it then. If you want to busy status, hotdesking, centralized VMPro, display information...etc. then you need a networking license.

It better to ask your Dealer how to implement this, the same numbers on both sites is a big NO.

You can not even make an IP line between them. It is the same license for H323 and SCN in the IPO 500.

So you will need a Voice Networking license + VCM in the IPO 500.
And you only need VCM in your 406v2.

If you need Advanced Networking, then you need Advanced license in both IPO´s.

It is also preferable that you upgrade the 406v2 to same level as your IP500.

I configure the IP line and IP route on each site, also short code with remote ext number. When I dial the remote ext number I got busy tone and also got a lot fault reports from system status says try to use SCN without license.

I am still confident that you can not make this without a license in the IP500.
You can create the IP line but it will not work.

An IP500 VCM comes with 4 channels enabled.

In an IP500 you will need networking licenses to make an IP line to another system. Networking Start licenses will give you 4 IP trunks. Manager will let you set one up but it won't work.

To add more than 4 VCM's to your 500 you need some of these:

For Advanced networking you will nedd this on both sites:

The 406v2 doesn't need networking licenses or VCM licenses.
