Does a new ACD DN have to be DID? 5

I'm planning to make a new ACD group, maxp 6 that will be taking local calls and also having an incoming toll-free number pointed at it. No Symposium or anything fancy - just 6 people answering this one line between 8 and 5 and then it gets a voice message saying store is closed, call back during business hours.
I know I have the available TNs, I know I have the available licenses. I have not yet ordered the 800 number. I am just wanting to get everything set up well in advance of go-live date and thought I could go ahead and create the ACD queue in ld23 and even program the TNs and then just punch them down and enlu when it's time.

Do I HAVE to have a supervisor set and, whether I do or not, can a phone that is already sup of another ACD q also be sup of this one or is it 1 q, 1 sup? (We do NOT have the required packages for MQA and may not even get the pkg for the switch. The Symp-lite quote we got was around 40K so I doubt we'll be getting that either. Just to add the MQA pkg in the switch is 13K and we might do that - but I think they want to see how much this thing gets used before committing any more cash than my time to it)

I think I am answering one of my own questions here - if there will be local calls and not JUST the toll-free line, I reckon it pretty much HAS to be a real DID number. (That was the sound of me smacking myself in the head)

I'm thinking it has something to do with that AACQ prompt but when I go through to chg, I don't get prompted to say "yes"..

What SDN did you use for the APP Builder?

I would have used the DID for the SDN in the APP Builder and built an ACD with a NON-DID number.

The SDN is what answers the call.

I used 7555, which is the DID and the ACD dn and the extension/DN used in app builder.

so if I rebuild the ACD with a non-DID of 8555 (just an arbitrary number pulled out of my, erm, hat.) where do I tell the the SDN (call pilot) that 7555 belongs to 8555 - I'm missing the meet-up point here.

I think I have all the parts, I just need to connect 'em.

Wait a minute - do I still need to build a CDN in ld 23? I'm sure I haven't done that yet - CDN 7555 and DFDN 8555?

nope - that didn't work. Probably a good thing....

I did rebuild tha ACD q as non-did 8555

I also built a phantom 500 set with DID DN 7555 DCFW to 8555

still not sure how to get call pilot to pick up calls to 7555 or 8555 and run the little app...

OK - we can stop working on getting call pilot to answer the call. made the DCFW on 7555 go to 7000 (call pilot) then added sdn 7555 to the sdn table and gave it the web_store app I built.

And it worked! at least, I got to the first prompt of my app and it kept looping back to the beginning and replaying my message....so now I just have to fix my app - but hey, that's progress!

Yippee! I don't know why, but I had to change the properties of the transfer block at the bottom of the app builder window - in that default path that shows up on every new app - even though I had my transfer block in the application going to the ACD queue, that one at the bottom needed to go to it too. And here I was thinking that was just a helpful guideline down there...

Now I'm just waiting for 5:00 to see of the time block works right...
