Again, my predecessor created a bunch of GPOs and non of the are documented.

Is there a quick way to gain overview and to compare what the GPOs with each other in order to check the settings and remove settings which are being set more than once?

Cheers

Go into the Group Policy Management MMC snap in, it will give you a list of the GPO's, click teh settings tab and it will give you a list of teh configured settings of each GPO.

I've done that, but I then have to check with nearly 30 GPOs, many settings and awfully many pages of paper...

What I've would have liked to have is some sort kind of a excel spreadsheet with all the GPOs listed accross (on a row), and the values of the settings vertical (in the columns).

Cheers
