Documenter error "Object Variable or With Block variable not set"

When trying to fire up the Documenter in Access 2000 (Tools--> Analyze --> Documenter) I get the following error:

Object Variable or With Block variable not set

any ideas on how to remedy this and get to the documenter??

thanks for the responses however I am not able to download applications to this computer.

I have also tried the compact repair database with no success.

any other suggestions?
