Does anyone know a workaround for the problem of word always asking to save changes to an attached template? Maybe using the DocumentBeforeSave option in VBA?

What exactly is the problem?

Yes, you could automate saving changes to a template but are you really routinely changing attached templates (other than normal) when you edit documents?
